The time has come to do away with cheap talk and take solid action for Nigeria. Some weeks agaon, we started a fundraising to conduct a media campaign against former dictator, General Ibrahim Babangida. Our thinking is that if can remind Nigerians well enough of what arm came their way through Babangida, they would wake up in popular opposition to his impending political run. We want to take the message of opposition to cities, towns and villages across Nigeria.

Everytime we consider the many problems with Nigeria, we feel very displeased. Frequently, Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora express disgust at the nation's arrested development. We blame everything that rightly should be blamed. We lament and we groan. We identify the steps to reverse the setbacks to our national development.  We talk, and talk and talk again. Yet, all we do is talk. And talking does not get the problem solved.

There is time for everything. We have done enough of crying and weeping by the rivers of Babylon. It is time to get up and act!
Againstbabangida.com was initiated because we realized that all talk and no action is vain. Action is the potent force for change. Againstbabangida.com is an active force by ordinary citizens tired of cheap talk that produce no results. We do not have much in material resources. We can't even dream of matching the resources of the forces we oppose. But in determination and convinction, we are strong.

People have associated us with all kinds of political heavyweights, and insinuated all manners of motives for our existence. It is so hard for them to believe that ordinary Nigerians, tired of the system, can bind and do something constructive to try to reverse the decay in the Nigerian nervous system.

From the feedback we have been receiving from all around the world, we believe we have the support of well-meaning and informed Nigerians. That has been the source of our motivation.

However, the time has come to do away with cheap talk and take solid action for Nigeria. We started several weeks ago a fundraising to conduct a media campaign against former dictator, General Ibrahim Babangida. Our thinking is that if can remind Nigerians well enough of what arm came their way through Babangida, they would wake up in popular opposition to his impending political run. We want to take the message of opposition to cities, towns and villages across Nigeria.

We are not asking for anthing that is not already the norm in civilized societies. Civic organizations like ours are the engines that drive public pressure against dangers to democratic progress in many developed nations.

Babangida can win, but so can ordinary Nigerians. But we can't win if we don't do something. Over the next few months, Babangida will be targeting impoverished Nigerians with false messages of hope. If well repeated, propanganda will become truth.  Please contribute today to help us fight back at:

We don't have to tell you how much destruction Babangida can unleash upon Nigeria. Here is a great opportunity to fight for better future and build virile democracy that the powerful military elite can no longer hijack.

This is a fight we can win. Babangida and his paid followers know what is at stake, with petro-dollar at an historic high. They cannot wait to lay their dirty hands on your money once again. They will do everything they can to steal power. But make no mistake, they know most of us will only talk and do nothing to fight back.  Do we want Babangida to come back, or do we want to fight back? Againstbabangida.com will need the resources to run an aggressive campaign in the media.

Your donation of at least $50 (or whatever you can give) will help keep the momentum against IBB strong.

Let's give Babangida a scare. Let's run him out of town!

Donate to the AgainstBabangida Media Campaign Fund.

Thank you for your help.
