Now that Nigeria's inordinately ambitious dictator, General Ibrahim Babangida, has picked a nomination form that might see him returning to power, the matter is now between him and you, the Nigerian. He has dared you to challenge him. He is taunting you. Is there really nothing in you power to stop him? Has he rightly assumed you can't fight?

Thirten years after committing one of the worst electoral crimes in the history of mankind, the manipulator picked up an electoral form with his blood-stained hands from the corrupt officials of the ruling PDP. Babangida could become the next president in 2007 if you allow him.

He knows he can, otherwise he would not have bothered to come forth. And hardly does he think the good people of Nigeria have any fight in them to challenge him.

If Babangida had staged another military coup, it would not generate much pain, since a coup is illegal and does not require approval. But he is attempting to come through the ballot box – the same ballot box he threw in the garbage bin when he annulled the June 12, 1993, election that was clearly won by Mr. M.K.O. Abiola. The democratic system which IBB so igominiously rubbished is the same one he has now found so valuable to use to climb back to power.

While you may still be wondering if Babangida is really serious, or where he found the courage to move so brazenly in your face, the Evil Genius sure knows the people he is dealing with.

He knows our political system is like a share on the stock exchange that the highest bidder can pick up at will. He  knows how many certificate forgers, 419 tricksters, corrupt policemen, pilfering soldiers, immoral husbands, unethical academics and all the other evil people he has smuggled into the system in advance of his ambition, from the highest levels in Abuja to the lowest levels at the local councils. He knows our so-called elected representatives are under his control. And he knows most Nigerians are too tired mentally, spiritually and physically to resist him. Babangida knows what he has in the kitty. That is why his in-your-face declaration is not without sense.

In spite of all these, we know Babangida can trip, just as he did in 1993, if we provide the element of surprise - if we fight back when he least expects.

This is a moment for you to decide what you will do, as an individual patriot,  to stop the Evil Genius. The time for pepper soup talk has passed. The time for action is now.

Our future is at stake. Your destiny is in question.  Should Babangida be allowed to fool us again, it might be the end of Nigeria as we know it. His presidential ambition is not only an insult to all Nigerians, but also a severe threat to the future of this and coming generations.  Coming generations will blame you if you do nothing when there is something you can do.

Babangida has dared you. Can you fight him? We believe you can. If you do a little, and the next person does a little. Let all Nigerians find strength in one another and form a common boundary which even the smartest evil cannot cross.

Together we can work to stop him and send him to jail, where he truly belongs.

Support this organization  and  all other similar groups to get rid of him.
